Please SHOWER and USE the TOILET prior to swimming in the pond or pool. In the garage, we have put the sports equipment, toys, some rain boots, and ponchos for you to use. Please kindly put them back in their containers in a CLEAN condition after use. Guests can use the rowing boat in the pond ( depth of 9 feet). Please use LIFE JACKETS (4 for adults and 3 for kids). There is NO lifeguard. Swim at your own risk. Please watch your kids and be present with them. What to bring? Sturbridge is minutes away for rainy day fun or a change of pace: Old Sturbridge Village, a living museum which re-creates life in rural New England during the 1790s through 1830s; fine dining and family dining, shopping, cinemas, antiquing and more.

The 6,557± sq. ft. antique estate house, also known as “The Big House” Oakholm Farm, is a perfect place for a bridal party, family reunion, or country escape. The original late 1800s home with it’s 1925 addition is furnished to maintain the historic feel of the house with a touch of French country style, with American antiques, and some charming pieces from the original homestead. There is a library that extends the width of the home with a stunning Steinbach piano waiting to be played. The Big House has six bedrooms upstairs (3 King, 2 Queen, 2 full and 2 twins), the sunroom also contains a twin day-bed. There is a small prep kitchen, 4 bathrooms upstairs, 1 bathroom downstairs and 1 in the basement next to the Swedish Room aka the Game Room. There are several sitting rooms. Washed and pressed sheets and clean towels are provided. If your looking for a classy New England farm experience, this is it.
